What does "Refurbished" mean?

"Refurbished" means different things to different customers and vendors. To us, "Refurbished" means it is being sold in a fully working condition. This does not necessarily mean we have replaced any parts - in most cases, the devices we sell are in the same condition as when we received them - but they are meticulously tested, cleaned, buffed and polished to get them looking as good as possible. We do occasionally replace batteries, screens, back covers, frames and other components when the device falls outside of our strict grading criteria, but only using high-quality parts.

We prefer this approach as it allows us to supply a more budget friendly range with our "Excellent, "Very Good", "Good" and "Imperfect" condition devices - this would not be possible if we were restoring every device to "As New". Our cases and screen protectors also do a fantastic job at hiding these minor cosmetic flaws.

Are the devices you sell unlocked and fully functional?

Yes, all the devices we sell are unlocked unless specified otherwise. This means you can use them with any compatible carrier or SIM card. Every device also undergoes rigorous testing to ensure optimal functionality. Read our Grading and Testing criteria to learn more.

Do your devices come with accessories?

Our devices come with the basics to get you started. For phones and tablets, this is normally a cable only. For laptops, MacBooks and Chromebooks, it will be a cable and adapter with the correct wattage. For a desktop computer like an iMac, it will be a power cable and a mouse + keyboard combo. For a smart watch, it will include the magnetic charger as well as a wrist band.

Do the items come in the original packaging?

Brand new devices come in the original box. Pre-owned devices will come with original packaging only if available, but most often they will arrive in a generic, recyclable brown box to protect the item during transit.

Can I view photos of the specific device I’m buying?

Due to our extensive inventory, we are unable to provide individual photos. However, each device comes with a detailed description and consistent grading - As New, Excellent, Very Good, Good or Imperfect - to help you understand what to expect. How do I place an order?

Browse our collections and select your desired products. Add items to your cart, review them, and proceed to checkout. Enter your shipping and payment information, then confirm your order. You'll receive a confirmation email with order details and tracking information once the order has been processed. If you need assistance, our customer support team is here to help.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Additionally, we offer alternative payment methods such as Zip, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The available payment options will be displayed during the checkout process.

We also accept WINZ payments and can provide Work and Income quotes.

How long does shipping take?

Once your order is processed and dispatched, the estimated delivery time within New Zealand is typically 1-3 days. For Australia, is typically 1-4 days. However, please note that delivery times may vary depending on your location and other external factors beyond our control. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number to track the progress of your shipment.

In order to ensure the safe delivery of your order and provide added protection, we require a signature upon receipt.

Can I change the shipping address for my order?

For security reasons, we can only ship to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address is correct and properly formatted.

If you need to correct an address, contact the courier promptly with your tracking number.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only offer shipping within New Zealand and to Australia. We do not ship elsewhere internationally at this time.

Can I click and collect?

No, unfortunately due to security standards we do not offer the option to click & collect. But don't worry! We use fast overnight shipping services ensuring you will get your device delivered to you super fast. You’ll receive a notification when your order has been dispatched with the tracking details.

Do you provide a warranty for your devices?

Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty for all our refurbished devices. This warranty covers any potential hardware defects or malfunctions. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for more details.

Brand New items come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return period for our refurbished devices. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the device within this timeframe for a refund or exchange. Please review our Return Policy for more information on the return process and eligibility.

Can I sell my device to CellMyPhone?

Yes, we also buy preowned devices. If you have a device you'd like to sell, please visit our Buyback page for more information on the process and get in touch for a quote.

Do you sell wholesale or in bulk?
