A device that shows medium signs of wear. Some scratches (which you can feel with a fingernail) and possibly a few scuffs around the body — what you'd expect most devices to look like after a couple of years of use. This particular watch has minor scratch marks on the base. Fully functional and thoroughly tested.

Apple's thinnest watch yet, and the biggest redesign since the Series 7. The Series 10 pairs a noticeably larger, brighter wide-angle display with a slimmer case that sits more comfortably on the wrist — and it's the first Apple Watch that can play music, podcasts and phone calls through its own speaker.

Display — 42mm Always-On LTPO3 OLED at 374 × 446, reaching 2000 nits. The new wide-angle OLED is up to 40% brighter when viewed at an angle, so you can read it with a glance rather than a full wrist turn. Ticks the seconds even in Always-On.

Thinner and lighter — A 9.7mm case, close to 10% thinner than the Series 9, in polished Jet Black aluminium.

Battery — Up to 18 hours of normal use, with fast charging taking it from flat to 80% in around 30 minutes. Battery health on this device is verified at 93%.

Health — Heart rate monitoring, ECG, Blood Oxygen, temperature sensing and sleep tracking, plus sleep apnea notifications introduced with this generation.

Water — 50m water resistant with a built-in depth gauge to 6m and a water temperature sensor, so it's genuinely usable for swimming and shallow snorkelling.

Safety — Crash Detection, Fall Detection and Emergency SOS built in.
